When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness -- and call it love -- true love. - Robert Fulghum

Weighting In

It's taken me 3 weeks to get up the nerve to write this post, but I needed to do it. And if it helps someone else who is dealing with the same issues, even better!

As I looked at the 2 family wedding invitations in my hands and the pictures I just posted on Facebook of my daughter and I and a picture from my BIL's wedding that I was in last year,  I knew that something had to give.

Like most wedding bound females, I want to look good in the pictures next year, but I also want to be able to keep up with kiddo...and that whole on my feet for 12 plus hours on a wedding days!

So. hi ho, hi ho, it's back to Weight Watchers I go. I know how much I need to loose and am going to do it healthy. No crash diets, not pills. Just eating right and exercise (I go to the gym 3 day a week right now.) I lost 60lbs before I had kiddo. I know I can do it, I just need accountability.

And as I want extra accountability, I will be posting after weigh in every Monday. Good, bad or even, I'm going to share. I have 105lbs to lose and I will, because I plan on being hotter at 40 then I was at 20!

So without further adieu...

Week 1: -7.2 (First week you always lose a bunch)
Week 2: -.6 (Total down 7.8)
Week 3: -3.2 (Total down 11) And I was on a 3 day vacation this weekend!

  3. My wife's family joined together and I organized a "family weight loss challenge". Together we're working to lose weight.

Good luck + keep up with the accountability. It helps! We'll be watching you! ;-)
